My Neighbour (I duno what you call female neighbour) aka meri padosan was supposed to be an bone tickling comedy or rather somewood expect akka the older version of successful padosan.
Director - Prakash Saini
Writer - Taarun Takshay
The story goes like that Viju played by Sanjay Mishra is a clerk and Kavita played by Saadhika Randhawa is his wife they living a normal routine middle class life but there life turns interesting when in the neighbourhood a struggling director Shyam Gopal Verma played by Sarwar Ahuja enters the story and come to stay in the beighbouring house of his friends Prem and Aslam. Shyam wants to make a short film for a channel and he start thinking of the concept but got inspired by there neighbours and decides to capture the romance of the neighbouring couple without there notice. and then the story takes interesting turns and twist. but nuthing as interesting or as exciting which can worth you to spend 100 bucks on this movie.
I guess we could have much better padosans :-)

Ek se boore do ; Movie review
Director Tarique Khan has come out with a movie called 'ek se boore do' the cast includes our very own circuit 'Arshad warsi' and the most laughable Rajpal Yadav.
The movie as you guessed it right is based on two croonies play by Ashad and Rajpal and how they create troubles for others and themselves and how situation becomes funny and
chaotic. and new characters keep adding to the chaos by the likes of govind namdeo and vijay raaz and yashpal sharma.
There is releif to all the choas by an item number by hot and sexy Brinda Parekh.
The movie is totally passable and I wouldnt spend hundered bucks for watching nonsense chaos.

Movie review Aa dekhe zara
This is another one of those stories were you can see the Future. I wish I could have got those powers and make hell lot of money in the stock market predicting the rise and fall of stocks :-) .
but coming back to reality about this movie "Aa dekhe zara", the main protagonist inherits a camera from his grandfather and guess what what an brilliant idea the camera can see the future how innovative idea. lol
Ray is a struggler and is having a very hard time as most of us we all are going during this economic downturn. he is a photographer and he inherits a camera from his grandfather this has special ability to see the future through the camera. India have tons and tons of Jyotish who keeps on predicting future and trust me lots and lots of people beleive in them even the most educated of them also beleive in it. so I guess there is quite a good audience for kind of movies.
So our hero gets the special power and along with it comes the best of things but when there is too much good happening there has to be some danger but before that Jay has whale of a time with the herione played by Bipasha Basu she is a DJ in the movie.
After various scenes of Jay winning lottery tickets and everything keeps going for him the danger lurks in the second half the chase stunts are well choreographed and the songs of Aa Dekhen Zara are very good and saving grace of the movie.
This is your very ordinary movie and viewers can give it a pass, it could have been much much better and exciting movie had the 2nd part of the movie made more exciting and exhilarating.

8x10 Tasveer ; Movie review
8x10 Tasveer is Nagesh Kukunoor film of Hyderabad blues fame. Nagesh is a talented and versatile film maker first he made Comedy Hyderabad blues, then crickters fight to get into the team 'Iqbal' and now he is working on suspense thriller. since this is a suspense thriller it will not be fun to reveal the identity of the killer. but the motive of the killer is not convincing enough. Had the motive and reasons been more convincing then it could have done wonders to the movie. technically the move is excellent comparable to any hollywood movie but story is not that great nor is the story telling. The locations of canada and south africa are treat to watch. Most of the actors are passable and just about OK, except your very own Mr Khiladi doing another role which is different from his action image.
8 x 10 Tasveer is about a simple guy called Jai played by Akshay Kumar, who has supernatural powers. The story is based in canada and were Jai works as forest ranger. The story starts when Jai's life turns into tragedy his father dies who was very important person in Jai's Life. Now Jai's tries to solve the mystery of the death using his extra powers.

Firaaq Movie review ; Nandita Das's Directorial Venture
The first scene of the movie shows a truck emptying dead bodies like its a debris and that pinches you and hurts you the most. All the stories moves in parallel but it does not give you any solution or culmination of them it only raises your subconsciousness it does not answer anything it shows the things as they are in real world. The actors are all top class right from Deepti Naval, Shahana Goswami till Nasserdudin shah. FIRAAQ is a very good serious kind of movie. If you like reality and wants to question your conscience and get it disturbed and wants your mind to raise so many serious thought provoking questions then this movie is for you.
Nandita Das has turned filmmaker, The actress was superb in her acting career and did quite a good realistic cinema and was know for her brains. Now she has turned out to be a creator of a movie FIRAAQ. This movie deals with the lives of common people after the Gujarat riots there feelings and how there life changed after it and how people cope with the tragedy.
The movie talks about six different stories each one totally different from another and it touches your heart and it asks you chilling questions without taking sides and is powerful in its impact.
There is a story about loyalty of two best friends being challenged in tough times about fear and suspicion. A housewife closes the door and does not give shelter to another women who was seeking refuge but is still facing the guilt and cant overcome it. A group of young men takes revenge out of anger and frustration. Another Story is about a Hindu-Muslim couple who tries to hide there true identities. Another story is about a boy searching for his father who has lost his entire family in the riots. Then there is a story about a musician who clings on to his ideals but his shaken by his faith.
